HELLO OS project wiki

HELLO OS is an experimental, local-first agent platform built with a web app, database-backed APIs, and an MCP tool surface. It is a prototype, not a production cloud operating system. This wiki documents what the project audit found working, what still uses simulated data, and what remains a roadmap idea.

Audit snapshot — 20 October 2026. The audit found 27 feature areas backed by database records and APIs, 14 areas still displaying fake or simulated values, and additional infrastructure that is not implemented. The application production build and all 11 test files passed; 27 of 29 API routes responded in the audited setup. These are audit results, not service-level guarantees.

How to read status claims

  • Database-backed means the audited feature reads or writes application data through the database-backed API path. It does not by itself mean production hardening, multi-server consistency, cryptographic trust, or a hosted service.
  • Simulated means a page or endpoint can return illustrative data that is not a measurement of live agents or infrastructure.
  • Roadmap means the capability is not implemented. A concept page or schema is not an operational service.
  • Verified refers only to the checks named in the audit and at the time they were run.

The words “live,” “real-time,” “evolving,” and “cloud” should be read in this context. See the simulation register before interpreting dashboard or HELLO EVOLVE visuals.

Maintenance

This wiki is a snapshot of the audit dated 20 October 2026. Update the relevant status page when a fix is merged and verified. Record the commit or pull request, test command, and remaining limitation; do not turn a planned capability into a “working” claim based only on design or UI.
