Root Cause:
GitHub Actions property testing workflow was failing because critical
infrastructure modules were missing, causing compilation failures.
Changes Made:
1. Created Blockchain.PropertyTesting.Framework module
- Provides custom macros for enhanced property-based testing
- Includes: property_test, fuzz_test, test_deterministic,
performance_test, and test_error_handling macros
- Follows Elixir best practices and DRY principles
2. Enhanced Blockchain.PropertyTesting.Generators module
- Added missing generator functions: transaction(), block(),
wei_amount(), and ethereum_address()
- Generators cover valid inputs, edge cases, and boundary conditions
3. Fixed property test files to use Framework module
- Updated transaction_property_test.exs
- Updated evm_property_test.exs
- Updated fuzzing_test.exs
- Updated p2p_property_test.exs
- Removed imports of non-existent modules
- Fixed variable naming issues (config, state references)
4. Added comprehensive todo.md documentation
- Documents the issues found and fixes applied
- Provides guidance for maintaining property tests
- Includes architecture notes and best practices
All changes maintain idiomatic Elixir code style and avoid unnecessary
mocking, using thoughtful abstractions instead.
Resolves: Property Testing GitHub Actions failures
Related: PR #2 (feat/dvt-testnet-phase3)

…ture Completes the property testing infrastructure by adding missing modules required by the GitHub Actions workflow. Changes Made: 1. Created Blockchain.PropertyTesting.Reporter module - Generates JSON reports for CI/CD integration - Generates JUnit XML reports for test result tracking - Handles missing Jason dependency gracefully - Provides detailed test summaries and statistics 2. Created Blockchain.PropertyTesting.Runner module - Benchmarks property test suites with performance metrics - Runs regression tests with saved counterexamples - Supports warmup runs for accurate benchmarking - Generates reports in multiple formats (JSON, text) - Calculates statistics (avg, min, max, std dev) 3. Updated crypto_property_test.exs - Changed to use Blockchain.PropertyTesting.Framework - Removed reference to non-existent Properties module - Now consistent with other property test files 4. Updated todo.md - Documented the new Reporter and Runner modules - Updated completion status and next steps All modules follow idiomatic Elixir patterns, include comprehensive documentation, and gracefully handle edge cases and missing dependencies. This completes the property testing infrastructure needed for the GitHub Actions workflow to execute successfully without module errors. Related: PR #2 (feat/dvt-testnet-phase3)
